Test it.
To test your Blueprint App, follow these three easy steps:
- Ensure your server-side code and the configuration and icon files are laid out according to the Blueprint documentation
- Package the configuration and icon files in a ZIP archive
- Click on “Test Application” to upload the .zip file
Your Blueprint App will be accessible on our test servers for at least 5 days. After that, it may be removed from the servers.
How to test.
To test on a PC or mobile browser.
Go to “devtest.m.yahoo.com” and sign in with your Yahoo! ID. After signing in you will be able to run the Blueprint Service you created.
- Widgets: will appear on the "My Widgets" page
(click on the gear icon in the upper right hand corner to get to “My Widgets”)

After you have uploaded your widget for testing you will be given a URL and a ID that allows you to run your widget as a standalone Java application on your phone.

To test in the Yahoo! Go™ 3.0 Client.
You can test in Yahoo! Go 3.0 using a real phone with the latest client or on the Yahoo! Go 3.0 Emulator.
- Widgets: The submitted widget will appear in the carousel
Note: Existing Yahoo! Go™ 3.0 users may need to go to the "My Widgets" view (pressing the * key) and choose "Refresh page" to reload the widgets subscription and making the test widget appear.
Making changes.
You can tweak any back-end services without having to resubmit your widget. For more significant changes, resubmit the widget, using the same identifier, and the changes will be overwritten on the previous version.
